I'm a local resident, business owner, and someone who believes things should work properly.
Most of my career has been spent fixing broken systems — reducing waste, improving clarity, and helping organisations run more effectively. I see the same issues locally: things that should be simple becoming complicated, time and money being wasted, and people left to deal with the consequences.
I'm not particularly interested in politics as performance. I'm interested in practical outcomes. Less noise, more usefulness. Better decisions, clearer thinking, and a stronger sense of responsibility for how things are run.
I believe in looking after people properly, using resources wisely, and leaving things in a better state than we found them. That applies whether you're running a business, a council, or a community.
I'm standing to bring a calm, practical, and accountable approach — focused on what works, not what sounds good.
